臺灣劇情長片《關於我和鬼變成家人的那件事》獨家授權衍生的前傳漫畫《在我變成鬼之前》，由金漫作家狼七操刀，故事軸線倒轉至死GAY毛邦羽冥婚之前的故事—毛毛透過男閨蜜學習撩男生的爆笑成長史、電影未說的催淚祖孫情、與臭直男吳明翰命定的夫夫緣分，故事內容笑淚交織。

"Marry My Dead Body: When I Was Alive," an exclusive licensed prequel comic to the Taiwanese feature film "Marry My Dead Body," is crafted by Golden Comics Awards-winning author July. This spin-off rewinds the timeline to before the posthumous marriage of gay character Mao Pang-Yu, aka Mao Mao, following Mao Mao's hilarious coming-of-age journey as he learns how to flirt with men through his male bestie. The narrative also delves into the touching grandfather-grandson relationship unexplored in the film, and the destined connection with straight-laced Wu Ming-han. This story is a delightful blend of laughter and tears.
