Rune is known not only for his ability to create powerful visual impact and fantasy-driven storytelling, but also for his skill in chibi character designs and four-panel manga that emphasize character cuteness. In his early career, he collaborated with Mars Digital Entertainment, a subsidiary of Softstar Entertainment, to create the full-color four-panel manga adaptation of the game “Tunak Tunak.” In 2017, he also collaborated with renowned writer Nanpai Sanshu on “Shejing Xuezhang,” a full-color webtoon spin-off of “The Grave Robbers’ Chronicles.”
Rune is currently serializing the manga “Tō no Kanri o Shite Miyō” in Japan. Adapted from the light novel by Sōshū, the work is a collaboration between Rune and GuyO, and is digitally serialized on KADOKAWA’s “Kadocomi” platform and the online platform “Niconico Seiga.” The series has reached nearly two million copies in cumulative sales.
In 2025, Rune further participated in “hololive night,” a themed collaboration event between Taiwan’s professional baseball team Wei Chuan Dragons and hololive production. For the event, he created exclusive character illustrations and chibi artwork for four hololive English VTuber members: “Fuwawa Abyssgard,” “Mococo Abyssgard,” “Gigi Murin,” and “Raora Panthera,” demonstrating his precise command of character appeal and professional expertise in cross-IP commercial collaborations.
